How to take good listing photos

Clear photos reduce questions, show condition and improve credibility.

1. Light

Use diffused daylight and avoid strong backlighting.

2. Order

The first photo should clearly show the whole item. Follow with sides, details, labels, accessories and defects.

3. Background

Remove unrelated objects and personal data. A neutral background makes inspection easier.

4. Files

Rotate photos, reduce excessive dimensions and remove EXIF location data before publishing.
